Let's see; I think the Titans from Tennessee just beat the Steelers 31-14 in a shootout that determined who the #1 seed in the playoffs is. So congrats to the Titans for the win and the #1 seed in the AFC playoffs. The season is winding down, what a bummer!

Up to date, we had another sophomore quarterback, Sam Bradford from Olkahoma. Congrats!

Who's getting the Heisman? My guess is Tebo.

Looking at Oklahoma and Florida matchup in January. I'd say this will be one to remember. I went to see the Tennessee Titians yesterday and it was a good whipping, but it is so fun to be at a game like this. Oh, the Titians won the AFC South Division as well, and will have home field advantage until they loose or go to the Superbowl.

Boy, have things happen around here the last couple of days. We (Auburn) have no football coach. He resigned after a very bad year. Now for the search for a new coach. What a year!

The SEC has a new gunslinger with Kiffin the new UTenn coach. His staff will have mostly NFL coaches with a few college ones. The defense will ran by his Dad, Monte Kiffin, needless to say few will be better.
Should be a year to build, but in 2010 the SEC and then the National Title.
I must say ShortGrub, you must be a vol fan. I follow them pretty closely due to the fact that my family is from Tennessee, and my parents are UT fans as well. I grew up a vol fan, but went to Auburn, and well you know the rest of the story.
My first Auburn game was against Tennessee in 1980. For the record, Tennessee won 48 - 0, and the coach lasted to the end of the season, just before the coming of Pat Dye.

I guess we are seeing an SEC and Big 12 matchup for the championship in January. Olkahoma looked pretty good against Olkahoma State, and what happen to Missouri today. Alabama dominated today, and I can't believe Georgia. Florida did its business as well.
Answers will determine who's where next week.

What's Happen to LSU? They look like Auburn. They lost to Ole Miss and Arkansas the last two games. Boy has this game changed!

This could be an interesting year in college football, and I have no idea who will be playing in the championship. Even though Alabama is in the driver's seat, they will not make it there in January (no I am not talking about Auburn). We'll have to wait and see in the next two weeks.
I wouldn't be surprise if it is USC and Oklahoma!

I know I've been absent for a while, but How About Those Titans!!!!! The only NFL team undefeated, and not a team in the AFC with a better record than with 2 loses. I think that they beat the Packers, and the Bears, too. I'm not too impressed with the offense, but that defense is something else. Oh, by the way I was at the game in Nashville against the Packers. What a game!
No, GT, I am not interested in talking about Auburn. I don't expect too much from them at all, but your bulldogs are struggling as well, but not as bad as the tigers.

I bet you have a looping tape of the OU games installed in that thing! You are a sick man, Jim!

Just saw the polls (Coaches poll), and gt your Georgia Bulldogs are NUMERAL UNO! This is a preseason, but watch out dawgs here comes the gators, tigers, vols, etc. They may have something to say.

Yea, but the Bear could never beat the Irish! Too bad!

Where's old Bear when the Tide needs 'im most?
You know Jim that's what the Bama faithful are saying! They're still waiting for the resurrection. -
Todd,
That's alright. Here in my state we live for college football. NFL is in second here. And it is Auburn/Alabama rivalry. And yes we have two favorite teams here. In my case it is Auburn and who ever plays Alabama.
As for the NFL, there is not much here, well it has been moving south with the additions of Tennessee, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay and Carolina. So we are adapting to the merging of NFL, but here in Alabama we are still college crazy. If the NFL expands to Alabama, say Birmingham, then we might be more incline to the NFL.
I know I didn't mention Atlanta, Miami, Houston and Dallas, but they have been a fixture here for a long time. And they have place in history.
Educate me with the Vikings tradition.

You know Todd if I didn't know better I'd think you were not a Packer fan or maybe even better; you are a fan of two teams, one is the Vickings, and the other is who ever plays the Packers. Am I right or wrong here? What is the series record between the two teams?

Hi guys, are we talking about American football or proper football that we have in England?
This is American football. We are kinda in a soap opera right now with a player. Just be patient and we get to the meat and potatos of the sport soon enough. About 35 more days, huh?

gt,
According to the SEC media day in B'ham this week, Florida is suppose to finish 1st in the East with the bulldogs in second and the Vols #3. In the west it is the Auburn Tigers while LSU Tigers finish 2nd and the Tide #3. The SEC belongs to Florida, but we'll have to wait and see about that in all cases.
Could be an interesting year for the SEC! I've seen some forcasts (no official) that the Gators are to win the season this year. Again, we'll have to wait and see. looking forward to a great season of college ball. I'm sure that ESPN is not a happy group right now.

Farve should retire and enjoy life. I'd bet a lot of TV networks would love to have him with them right now. But if he loves the game like he seems to then he should pursue it and give his best. This could diminish his reputation if he whines to reporters.

What a game!!!!! I thought this was going to be a tight one. The Giants defense is holding true, and giving Brady a lot of trouble. But the Pats are doing the same to Manning and the offense. Score at half is 7-3 Patroits. See what happens in the second half.
Half time show was good. Tom Petty & the Heatbreakers are hot.
What do you think of the commericals so far?
