Just want to reiterate that the Dallas Cowboys are tops in the NFC East (for those of you who may not have noticed - he he:laugh: ) with an 11-1 record. If the Giants lose today, there is no way that they can challenge the Cowboys for NFC East supremecy.

Well, I wish I could say I was a Football Fan but, I really have not enjoyed a game ever since the Dallas Cowboys and the Pittsburg Steelers played their famous Superbowl Game sometime in the mid seventies. It was Roger Staubach against Terry Bradshaw. I remember watching that game and I have to admit, that it sure was a great game. I loved all the hype that went with it starting a good two or so months before it was played. All I can say is, that those were the days of watching some great Football. :-))

Just a bit of trivia - this was the game that the filmmakers of "Black Sunday" used for the finale of the movie.

    Hi
Don't really understand why but on Sunday the New York Giants beat the Miami Dolphins 13-10. it was a home match for the Dolphins and it was played at Wembley Stadium watched by 81,176 people. Long way to go to see a home game especially as it was played in pouring rain.
    Regards
    Arthur

I watched that game - didn't realize you folks across the pond were that great of football (U.S. version). It does catch on after awhile.

Tough loss for LSU tonight. 3 overtimes I believe. This really shakes things up in the SEC as well as the BCS. Let's see, South Florida playing for the championship????? What about Boston College or California???? Should be very interesting to see what happens in the next few weeks.
On another note, watched my Dawgs beat Vanderbilt JUST like they beat us last year!!!!!! Go Dawgs!!!!!

With three more high-ranked teams losing yesterday, the BCS must be having fits. Who gets into the championship game is anyone's guess.

Did anyone stay with the Cowboys - Bills game Monday night? That was some amazing comeback for the 'Boys, winning 25 to 24 in the last 2 seconds of the game. :hyper: What is almost as amazing is that they surmounted six turnovers and Romo got them back to a point where they could accomplish it.

Well, Texas A&M got whupped the other night by Miami.
Strange how Miami got whupped in much the same manner a couple of weeks ago.
With all of the University of Texas' personnel problems, I have a feeling they're going to get whupped on Oct. 5 at the big showdown with Oklahoma in Dallas.
    Not so cheers - Jay:ohwell:

This year, our first game will be against one of your rivals...Oklahoma State.
Some of my Georgia buddies don't wanna see this game take place, they think we'll get our butts kicked, but I welcome the challenge. I wanna see what my team is made of right out of the gate. That way, I know whether or not I can hold my head high, talk my trash, or just humbly bow out of any conversation about college football.

You never can tell, gt - there are always upsets in any game. Your game against the Cowboys might just be one of them.

Hey, gt - my wife and I are big football fans - both college (being from Texas one has to be) and NFL. My favorites are Texas and Texas A&M on the collegiate side and the Cowboys (of course) who had their summer camp here at the Alamodome.
