Once again I don't follow college footbell much due to reason's I stated above, but finally the Minnesota Gopher football program fired Tim Brewster. Hopefully we will get someone that is relevant in football and can bring in or keep players so the program can become atleast respectable.

I normally don't care about college football, mostly because Minnesota college football has been so irrelevant for the last 40 years but, I was on my way back from Chickamauga and Chattanooga National Battlefiled park and I had it on the radio. The 2nd half was really exciting to listen too, I can imagine watching was just as fun. -

We had American Football, live here in the UK.
On Saturday, we had the Chargers V Saints,
at Wembley Stadium.
It was a great spectacle, and was a huge success.
Yeah, Rivers and Brees were letting the ball fly that was sure. And LT was running all over the place. Atleast it was a 14-10 low scoring affair, those are boring.
On a side note, look at all the idiots in the NFL that got busted for illegal substances again!! Gees, they will never learn. And 2 of the guys are from the Vikings, and starters to boot!!! I guess there is always next year.......

Not that anyone cares or should because its just a Big Ten team but, The Gophers won again today at Purdue. Its been a long time since we had a college football team that is 7-1 .

I think Childress needs to re-evaluate himself as well. Gees there is some screwed up play calling going on. I mean if the game plan needs to be changed it either doesn't change or is a quater late.

I am not sure what the series record is but I believe its close to .500 Maybe in favor of the Packers alittle.
I have never really been a Packer hater, just a Vikngs fan. But there is a rivalry that gets heated once in awhile. I just don't get caught up in it, well maybe for some light hearted jabbing, that's it. So I guess you can say I don't root for them. -

Being a Viking fan it's fun to watch the Packer faithful slam there immortal QB who could do no wrong for so mant years. And wouldn't it be great if by some miracle the Vike's landed him???? I mean not that I want him to play for us really bad, it would be fun to see what he could do, but can you imagine the first game of the season and its the Vikings at Lambeau field and here comes Favre running out onto the field in Viking purple??? The Packer fans would be drinking so much beer and passing out they wouldn't make it through the 1st quarter.........

As a life long Vikes fan it was awesome to see Favre fold!! He is good and all but when he stinks, I don't think anyone else stinks worse then him.
I just wish the Vikes were more consistent. They killed the Giants at home this year but that was a different team and defintely a different Eli.
I hope the Giants win as well, not because I am a fan, but because I hate the Patriots and Bilichek because he got caught cheating at the beginning of the year and cheaters should never win. -
I hate the Packers being a Vikings fan but I too want to see the Pats fall, mainly for the "cheating" thet they got caught at at the beginning of the season. Just for that I want them to loose.
