Marino was pretty good though wasnt he?
dont know much about american football but i remember watching a bit of a game and he was playing for the dolphins -
is Dan Marino still playing for the Dolphins??
-
Why do they play 4 quarters?
Why not play 2 halves?
Seems strange to me  -
It didn't help the pitch though did it Ethan !!
They cut it up pretty bad and it still wasn't right for the next England match at Wembley.
I think it's still a minority sport over here.
I can't understand why it lasts so long  -
That's what i meant Stumpy,apologies
-
England won 5-1 today in their World Cup qualifier.
I know it's not American football but it's still football to me.
Apologies Stumpy for posting on your American football debate. -
Yes, in talking about OU-Texas football, it's American-style, not soccer.
And yes again - most of the better college players go on to the NFL.
Thanks for clearing that up Stumpy and we play football not " soccer " regardless of what that idiot Beckham says -
is this college american football? do they go up to the NFL afterwards if they are good enough?also that sounds very unfair playing in Texas every year.you would have thought they played home + away alternating every year. seems strange to me

To Lucky Ned's question, my #1 son thinks anything outside of rugby is for sissies, although he is a Dallas fan.
Tbone,i agree with your son rugby is a hard game.i hated having to play it at school as i was always put in the group with the lads that were really into it ie 6 feet tall and 15 stone !!!! -
Hi guys, are we talking about American football or proper football that we have in England?
