Go Colts!!!!

Looking forward to the Bama - Longhorns game. Go Tide, bring another national title back to the SEC.

My Eagles beat up on the Panthers but McNabb got hurt. Not this week, but next week the old #7 of the Falcons may be the new #7 of the Eagles behind center.

We now Vick here in Philly. What a dog and pony show with the animal rights people. Some good has come with him here they already busted a major dog fighting ring.
The Eagle fans have grabbed up his jersey. He took the field and the place went nuts.
It also should be an interesting season.

It was Favre's first game. Peyton Manning's first game, he was sacked 4 or 6 times in 7 or 8 plays. The second game he was 11 of 14 and 2 TD's.
Favre's second game will be better.

Should make the Vikings offense more potent with him running the show.

I wanted it to be a keystone state Superbowl but that didn't work out, so I am cheering for the Cardinals. I am a fan of Warner. He is a good QB.
In reality defense wins games and Pittsburgh has a good one, but so did Carolina. If the o-line protects Warner it will be the Cards, if not Pittsburgh.

I always have the Eagles in the NFC, and the Colts in the AFC apparel on.

The Colts winners of 9 in a row are the hottest team going into the playoffs.

What I can't figure out is why Leach wants out of Tech so bad. He wanted the UTenn job,the Washington job, and probably will try for the Auburn job.

They interviewed Kiffin the other day and He would not answer questions on the Def coordinator. He said that will be in place later. All the Offense are in place, but no Defense. Anyone can figure out that he must wait until Daddy finishes the year with TB still in the playoff hunt.

The SEC has a new gunslinger with Kiffin the new UTenn coach. His staff will have mostly NFL coaches with a few college ones. The defense will ran by his Dad, Monte Kiffin, needless to say few will be better.
Should be a year to build, but in 2010 the SEC and then the National Title.

I hope Florida does not beat Bama. Saban may not be everyones favorite but Meyer is a primadonna. LSU went downhill quick. Not the SEC's year.
Stoops and Brown are good level headed coaches. Should be a good game if they do a rematch. Tech though still only has 1 loss and should not be pushed out. That is the sad part about losing late.

I got the same enjoyment seeing the Notre Dame score. I like Weiss, but despise the money capital of college football. If they won they may have gotten a bowl bid with a terrible record. Only Notre Dame.

Leach has some explaining to do on why his team just showed up and went though the motions. National title on the line and they play like that?

Talked with a Tech 91 Alumni 3 days ago. He was all excited about the upcoming game. Betcha he is taking some aspirin today after those lumps.

Tech beat the Longhorns, what a good day in college football. Leach is a good coach and he finally got over the Texas obstacle.
Should be interesting where in the poll they end up.

The politics issue I was inferring that a coach puts up with so much politics that being a politician isn't that much of a stretch for them to become.

Switzer and Royal will go down as two coaches that brought out the best in each other and their teams. Did their players get extra dibs, maybe. Both made college football fun.

Osborne at Neb had his issues with players. Now he is in politics, seems coaching isn't that far from being politician now does it.

At div 1 level the talent is so good it is hard to believe many don't take freebies. Bush clearly has and someone is protecting his rearend. Sooner or later too much evidence will come to light and he will get nailed.
