Hi Murray, not that I heard of yet. The main thing the media seems to be concerned with now is, publicising all of the vandalism that is going on here around town now. Apparently there are quite a few copy-cat graffitti tagers here thankx to all the publicity.

These kids have no scruples and also vandalize Churches, Schools, Veterans Memorials and Cemetaries. They just recently cought the 16 yr old punk that was in charge of his own Graffitti crew. This kid has already been arrested four times before this latest arrest, has four felonies with this one making his fifth felony.

We are also experiancing a rash of Copper thieves as well. Recently they hit my Apt complex and stole several complete AC units and broke into the laundry mats and tried to steal the money from the machines.

Back to the creep killing those Cats:

I'm hoping that my assumption is correct in that the "silence" about the cat-killer, is maybe because the Cops might be on it's trail? Leastwise-im hoping that's whats going on?

Hi Smokey, and thanks. What gets me is that the police are not doing anything about it. Our police are more worried about setting up their "checkpoints" around town just so they can write out more tickets. Our new police chief is turning out to be a real jerk. This guy had a rape scandal-in which he was accused of raping an ex-girlfriend-he got off scott free. While they were investigating this, he was allowed ot be on paid leave-for two months.

Hi Jay, thanks. And yep, another cat was found yesterday :-(( It seems that the more news this sicko gets, the more cats he/she/IT kills. I hope that after they catch this jerk, that I get to be on the jury.

As for toll roads--the State can stick them up their .............

Oh well, Texas had it's chance for change but, not many voted for Kinky Friedman. Or, shall I say, not enough people voted against perry.

Thank you Smokey, Yep, mine are checked especially when I come in for the night. I only have two windows in my apt to worry about and im upstairs-so it's not too bad. I also have a 9MM Walther P-38 with two fully loaded magazines, not too far a reach from the spot I spend most of my time occupying. The Gov. of our State-Rick Perry, just signed into law and is effective as of Sept 1st, a law that lets the homeowner use whatever force is necessary, in order to defend his car and home--and the car does not have to be in off the street and in a garage.

Speaking of my cats, they are always close by. I don't know if anyone else in Texas or whereever has heard but, for about the last year and on the richer side of town, there has been about 2 dozen cases of cats being taken from some yard, and mutilated. Then the mutilated cat is taken back to the place they stole the cat from and they lay it in the yard to be discovered. >:-((

And thanks to Perry's new law, that creep(s) can be shot and killed - which would not disturb me what-so-ever; if that happened.

When they catch the sicko that is doing this, I hope they hang em.

Quite welcome Todd, your one of many who are helping me through some of the toughest times yet, and I greatly appreciate alll of you here. You all remind me of the way it used to be-when I was growing up in a smaller city. The way that people were so laid back, could take time to relax, smell the flowers, enjoy a great hot cup of coffee or ice cold tea and if you left the house-you could leave it unlocked; is how I feel about this place.

I don't visit IMDB very often anymore-and in fact have not been there for probably 2 months now--cept to look up a movie or stats on an actor. I have not been there to read ""sharons"" lies either.

One thing that really hit true here is when and I agree with Todd, Jim/Sue etc, is that the good folks who come here, Really, do seem like a family to me. I have never been on any site, that has this many great people who get along as well as we all do here.

I don't know what ""sharon"" is saying about members here but, I can say that I have made many great new friends here and that the average person here, is a real and genuine lady or gent.
