Why yes it is, We did a quick drive by , but didn't stop. 
It's also known as the "back door" to Death Valley, California.
We also drove by Art Bell's house, in the same neighborhood, which was interesting., in that, it was completely surrounded by fancy Ham radio antennas.

Just spent the five days over the weekend down in Pahrump, Nevada with my middle son Thomas learning how to become better shots with a handgun. Something I think Duke would have approved of. The training organization is named Front Sight , and I highly recommend it for its friendly, professional way of teaching. Here are a couple of links that describe it;
