I agree with all of the above. I don't think Lee Van Cleef got the recognition he so deserved. What made me a fan of his was his short-lived TV series: The Master. Ever since then, when I get to see a movie with him in it-I watch him more differently than I had before. One of my top favorites with him in it was when he did Escape From New York-w/ Kurt Russell, Ernest Borgnine, Donald Pleasance, Harry Dean Stanton, Issac Hayes and Adrienne Barbeaux.
Boy he was just so good at playing sinester roles!
