Did read an article the other day where Lee Majors is supposed to be on board to play Tom Barkley, the father of his original character, Heath Barkley.

Class act. I was watching some videos on You Tube recently & found this clip of her accepting her 1983 Emmy for "The Thorn Birds". As usual, she makes a point of thanking the crew, but the really cool part was the tribute she paid to a fellow nominee right at the end. Plus, given Robert Wagner's new revelation of their relationship in his biography, it's a neat moment when she walks up on the stage with him, Stefanie Powers, Lionel Stander, & of course, Freeway.

And Stanwyck was a great frustrated stunt woman...doing many of her own stunts, way up into her golden years.
