Rest in Peace Harry, I liked you in no matter what I saw you in-even if I hated the movie-you gave justice to it.

Always thought Steve was under-rated. I enjoyed every time he showed up. Saw him in "Flaming Star" as Elvis' older brother and thought he stole the show. Don't forget he was in "The Longest Day" with Duke.
Vaya con Dios, Steve. We deal in lead, friend.
Another great one he was in was: Prisoner of War w/ Ronald Reagan, Spies Like Us w/ Chase and Akroyd-and I THINK he was in: Take the High Ground w/ Widmark, Malden and Russ Tamblyn.

Jason & The Argonauts had the smal army of skeletons fighting, and 7th Voyage of Sinbad had one skeleton fighting Sinbad. Loved 7th Voyage, that was my intro to Ray's work, and it was (and still is) magical.
I dont think ive ever seen the Argonauts movie all the way through? I need to see how many of his movies are on DvD? I know of a Ray Harryhausen box set-which has 4-5 movies on it--but I have most of them already.

Oops-nice FX shot, but this is one of Bert I, Gordon's films, not Rays.
I know--but I just wanted to get something with a monster in it. I THOUGHT I had found one from: Earth vs the Flying Saucers--because I could swear I saw a pic with one of the Saucers flying--but I made a post somewhere and-when I went back to look? I couldnt find the image-let alone one that was movieg. Another i was hoping to find--was a moving image showing those Skeleton Warriors fighting-I think it was--Sinbad?? in one of the Sinbad movies he worked on.

I think I'm the only country music fan who never really cared for his voice.
Make that two. I didnt dislike him--just didnt care for his singing. however, my ex-fiance--loved him.

I'm a huge MASH fan so i'm sad to hear of this, I always enjoyed his guest stints in MASH and he became a more regular part of the show near the end after Gary Burghoff left, seems he lived a long life though.
Same here--he was good and I wished he had more guest spots during the series run. His bits with Klinger are a killer of a hoot.:lol:

Allan Arbus--who was most noted for playing the character of: Major Sidney Freedman on: M*A*S*H passed away at the age of 95.
Rest in Peace Allan, I liked you in what I saw you in.

Rest in Peace--Pat--George.
I always liked Summerall on programs and enjoyed his delivery.

I kinda liked to hate Lumpy but--Rest in Peace Frank.,

His character in that movie was my favorite. Especially in the scenes with Arnold Stang and Melvin Kaplan and their destruction of the gas station. That was classic. Also, when they're digging for the money and he grabs Phil Silvers and picks him up and throws him out of the hole.
Heh heh, when they find the "W" is just hilarious. I still dont own the DvD yet--but will buy one in May.
-
I liked Winters in anything I saw him in especially as the dimwit in: It's A Mad Mad Mad Mad World. Rest in Peace Jonathan, the World just got a lot less funnier.

Shows you how dumb I am....sure some of you knew that already. However, I always considered Margaret Thatcher in a favorable light......of course that is only because of what I read about her. Had no idea she was anything but. Always learning something new. Too Bad.......I liked her.....now, I don't know!
I still like her and think those punks who made a joke of her passing should rot for a few decades in Rikers Prison. End of story for me.
