Bought the BluRay/DVD combo of 42. A great movie and I am a Dodger fan. It was great to me. I admire Jackie Robinson, and I think Harrison Ford could be Oscar consideration. It was really great. One of the best I've seen (new) in a long time. A must for the baseball fan.

I received a great discount from Warner Brothers site. I was able to purchase with a $5 discount with a $20 purchase two movies. I bought from the One on One a Robby Benson movie from the 1970's about a boy going to college on a basketball scholarship and how he copes with the changes in his life as he grows into a man. And my other purchase is a Blu-Ray of a classic, Rio Bravo for $10.43. Now I am pumped up. I have my favorite Western in my Blu-Ray collection.

Though I have this on VHS and DVD, it touches my heart to add to my Blu-ray collection The Great Escape! Just an all around great movie with some of the greatest actors of the time. So glad to have this in my collection. Stars are Steve McQueen, James Garner, Richard Attenborough and many many more.
If you haven't seen this movie, which I am sure most of you have here, see it. It is one of the greatest films about war or mainly about WWII prison escapes ever made.

I just bought The Sandlot on Blu-ray that also includes a DVD with that movie. A fun movie to watch and see on the greatest American past time, baseball and our youth. One I hope everyone has seen and will see again and again.

I found a fantastic bargin at Target. The trilogy of Back to the Future on Blu-ray with Digital Copy for $19.95 Even though the caption says that the digital copy expired back in November, I tried it and it went through. Awesome for what I think is a great series.

If I might add, the Trailer begins with an intro from Duke himself.
We deal in lead, friend.
You're absolutely right, Gorch. I wonder if this was the only trailer ever made. It was good.

Wow! How's the quality of the film? I had no idea it was available on DVD!
The Mrs. wants to know about any special features.
Chester
Hey there Chester and Mrs........ Hope you are having a ball in Iowa at the Birthday, Bash. I just watched the movie and the quality of the picture and sound is fantastic. I saw the Blu-ray version, but sure that the DVD is good too.
The extras are alright. You get the News Reel from 20th Century Fox focusing on the girl, none on Duke. And the Trailer is alright (just one). There are photos of movie scenes (about 30). That's about it. The extras are from the Blu-ray only. The DVD just shows the movie.

I received a post dated birthday present of Red Tails. Looking forward to seeing this movie sometime this weekend. It is the area of my back yard, figuratively speaking. Tuskegee is about 50 miles from my house. Thinking this is a winner. Got in Blu-ray version.

I bought in the last few days, The Barbarian and the Geisha on the Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack. Well, it is a John Wayne movie.

I didn't know that Fort Apache was released on BlueRay. I happen to see it out a few weeks ago at Target, so I purchased it. It was distrubed by Warner Brothers. And paid $14.00. Wish to see the rest of the trilogy released very soon.

I bought last Thursday, War Horse from Movie Stop. I got the BlueRay, DVD, Digital Copy version. The movie was really good. Haven't seen the extras yet, but like to option of having both or all three. Not sure about the digital copy but exploring this for my computer/cell phone. Highly recommend the movie. The options on the online is not as good as it use to be, and I don't order like I use to, but I have slowed down on the purchasing of movies. The new ones are not that good, and the old ones don't release like they use to.

Well, it is not a DVD but it is Bluray, well it does have a DVD and Digital Copy. It is Unknown with Liam Nelison. Good movie with plenty of action and suspense with a twist in the plot that is pretty cool.
