Don't be so hard on yourself, Stumpy. You love watching movies, so why not watch the best versions available. I'd probably do the same thing if my finances allowed.

I bought the BR edition of Angel and the Badman. WORTH IT! It is way sharper than any version I have seen before.

Hell on Wheels, Season 2 BR. I love this show and it keeps getting better!

But as I approach the end of my life, I've given some thought to the whole thing and thought to myself "Really, Jim, what was the purpose?" and "what are you gonna do with all these movies that the younger generation doesn't care for at all?". I've about decided that I'll give the whole shebang to my local library. Let THEM decide the disposition of the films. Any of my Duke friends think I'm getting a little soft in the head? If so, I agree with you wholeheartedly.
P.S.
I welcome any recommendations concerning the disposition of all those films.
I think the Library is a good idea, Stumpy. Another idea would be do donate to a local retirement home. The resident folks there would be more of an audience for your older films.

Lincoln. Very good movie with great acting.

I got the Blu-ray version of The Cowboys, The Green Berets and The Searchers all in one set. And all 3 were only $15.00 at Walmart.

Looks like a win, Hondo Apache. You'll get the movies you wanted, and now have others you may not have bought for some time that you can view at your leisure. Enjoy!
