-
Speaking of Rawhide--ill have the 1st season next week sometime after I go to have lunch at the Cracker Barrel Restaurant.
-
I scored huge at Wally World today. Just bought each for a sawbuck:
The first two seasons for: Magnum P.I.
Season 3, set 2 for: Voyage To the Bottom of the Sea.
Season 1 for: Bat Masterson.
-
Just bought for $10 bucks--season 1 of: Cheyenne w/ Clint Walker. Ive never seen the series before so im anticipating doing so.
-
My "agony" will not be much when I go ahead and buy season 2 and 3 of: Have Gun - Will Travel in May.
-
The Shakiest Gun in the West;
The Love God:
Rest in peace Don: -
Now for the other four movies bought today:
A 4 movie set of Don Knotts comedies:
The Reluctant Astronaut:
The Ghost and Mr. Chicken: -
The Night of the Generals:
Donald Pleasance as a German general--CLASSIC!!!!!
Omar Sharif as a German Officer :lol: -
Hellcats of the Navy:
The great Communicator himself: Ronald Wilson Reagan and Nancy (soon-to-be-Reagan) Davis:
The fine Fighter aircraft as used in the movie:
"Bent Wings" on board ship: -
The War Lover: Ive never been a fan of this movie seen it twice but will give it one more try:
Robert and Steve: -
I wasnt going to buy any more DVDs this month but--couldnt pass up 8 movies for $20 bucks. They be:
4 War Movie set of:
Anzio (which I already had)
Robt Mitchum, Reni Santoni:
Peter Falk as the Red Devil Scout/aka/""The Devils Brigade"" & Santoni:
The best part of the movie with Falk and Mitchum facing a few German snipers:
This Anzio landing image greatly irritates me because most of the GIs are carrying LEE-ENFIELD Rifles!!!!!!!!! instead of M-1 Garands:
Mitchum, Falk and Santoni (entering Rome)
Earl Holliman as the Sergeant: -
Sharpes Challenge w/ Sean Bean. I saw it by chance when I ""by chance"' just happened to be near the DvDs section at Wally-World. I bought and watched it--and its definitely worthy of being in your movie collection.
-
Just bought this morning, the first season to:
Have Gun Will Travel w/ Richard Boone and some Asian guy.
The entire series for: Robin Hood w/ Richard Greene, Bernadette O'Farrell, Archie Duncan and others.
-
Thanks. Are you not a fan of Brannigan or have you just not gotten around to adding it to your collection?
Just hadnt got around to getting it yet. I also need Mc Q. ;-)) I like them both especially the one where he is in the UK.
-
Nice Duke marathon you got. All I need from what you posted is Brannigan.
-
Speaking of schindlers list, the 3 year girl (now 20 or so years older) has said she regretted playing that little girl in the movie. I forget why?
-
I know! I just want it to get a fair shake!!
It's a great series, and close to my heart. My dad was in the Navy in the South Pacific, and piloted a Higgins Boat - most notably at Okinawa.
Im a fan of Pacific War stuff-in fact--just watched the Marines best the Japanese in: Halls of Montezuma. ;-))
-
Ringo, as I've stated on another thread, The Pacific is loaded with action, and is VERY intense.
I don't get how folks would say this is at all long winded or short on action.
You gotta remember that ALL militaria collectors are VERY picky with details. Not just me
