Jim, spend your money on what you enjoy what you love most.
After all when you leave it to the kids they will only 'waste' it!!

Ive always wanted to go to Scotland--ive got a best friend who lives there and another who was born near there but is British but has a Scottish accent ;-)) The other lives right next to the Bonnockburn (SP?) battlefield.
Carl, an interesting web site for you.
Bannockburn -
Allegheny Uprising
Reunion In France
Without Reservations
Tycoon
Big Jim McLain
Trouble Along the WayI don't own these movies at the moment, in fact I haven't even seen them (are they any good?)
Had to amend your post slightly, inappropriate language!
In answer to your question,
you will NOT find the above movies anywhere near the same level
as The Searchers etc.
Obviously Duke has never made a 'bad' movie,
but these are very much second and third tier!
As The Ringo Kid said, Allegheny Uprising is an excellent movie
and one of my favourites.
Without Reservations, Big Jim McLain, and Trouble Along the Way on par, just OK
Renunion in France and Tycoon, are very weak by Duke's standards,
with Tycoon probably being in the 'one of Duke's worst movies' section
