The ORIGINAL "TRUE GRIT"...you know...the GOOD one!!

It's a great series, and close to my heart. My dad was in the Navy in the South Pacific, and piloted a Higgins Boat - most notably at Okinawa.

Ringo, as I've stated on another thread, The Pacific is loaded with action, and is VERY intense.

I don't get how folks would say this is at all long winded or short on action.

Don't feel bad! I absolutely LOVE that show! I also like Strike Back, Boardwalk Empire, Boss, True Blood (and I usually HATE vampires), Sons of Anarchy...

You get the idea!
