This is a well done mini story in pictures with the theme songs of the two TV shows. I need to go find them and see them again.......lots of guest folks in there I didn't know when I was a "kid in a coonskin cap"......yep, I had one and it wasn't store bought either. My Grandfather, Will Keith Hawks, made it for me!

Forgot, Booneville, NC is down the road a piece from me. Although Boone did not live here...he lived about an hour and a half south, he used to come to this area on the Yadkin River to hunt and fish. There was a huge old hollow tree that he used to sleep in when he camped. The town was named for him after he became famous because of his frequent and lengthy visits. KEITH
One of my very favorite shows when I was a kid. Always loved Buddy Ebsen in everything........ESPECIALLY when he was singing and dancing. You can compare him a little to Ken Curtis/Festus!
For those of you too young to know, Buddy was quite a singer and dancer in the early years! Love Fess in all also. KEITH Still can sing the title song, LOL!
