I don't have any intention of switching over either! Unless someday i have to! I am glad i swithed from VHS to DVD, Quality is much better and they take less room! I am curious though, Is there a easy way to see what is available on JW on blue ray? and what is coming out in the future? I'd be curious to see how long it will take to convert his movies to blue ray. Some will never make it i'm sure!

Well i bought my copy of the Barbarian and the Geisha at Walmarts yesterday. Two discs inside, thats cool. Haven't had a chance to watch it yet, but i have to agree with Ringo, NOT impressed with these cheap cases.

Can somebody exsplain to me what they mean by Combo? Does this mean there is a blue ray disc and a regular format disc inside? Or do you bottom line have to have a blue ray machine? ( i'm referring to the Barbarian and the Geisha DVD at Walmarts.)
thanks. -

I've seen The Big Trail before on VHS. ( what i could see of it ) the quality was terrible. hard to follow. noisy.

THANK YOU GORCH!!!!! Can't wait to get my copy of Barbarian and the Geisha! Now you say Blue Ray? You must be able to get it on a regular DVD too. Right?
I don't do the Blue Ray thing. Would cost me a fortune to turn them all over to
blue ray. -

Hi Chris!
Well, I don't buy the early movies. ( if you are refering to the movies he made in the thirty's) not a big fan of those. But i can tell you about one of those on your list. My copy of the Conqueror was made by Good Times video and the quality is A+.
I also have The Barbarian and the Geisha on VHS. This was put out by a company called Key Video. Again, ( for being an older tape) quality is very good. Not sure if this helps you any, but i thought i'd throw it out there. bill
