Thanks for the update Paula,
but why oh why can't they spend on the artwork,
my opinion, it's dreadful! -

Thanks for all the technical updates.
I have also copied the posts relating to the movie
John Ford- The Sun Shine's Bright
to that thread -
A discussion about The Quiet Man on blu-ray (and DVD) has been under discussion in the "Olive Films" thread since Oct. 29. The transfer from a 4k scan should look fantastic unless there is some big screwup.
I have now sorted this Paula,
and merged the new thread into this one -
Great artwork Paula, thank for posting it.

I agree, thanks for the updates

Now if only Warner would remaster 3 Godfathers and She Wore a Yellow Ribbon for blu release. Can you all imagine how gorgeous those Technicolor beauties would be in blu-ray (if done right)?
I totally agree -
Thanks for the updates. They look and sound excellent

Just to say,
I moved this thread into Movie Reviews,
so that it did not disappear in general or Off Topic discussions -
Hi All,
I was reading the thread on Olive Films: The long list of Republic films
that Olive films will eventually release on Blue Ray/Dvd. Arthur noticed that one of the films, { the Oregon Trail } was on that list. This is a movie
we all considered to be LOST! So, i'm wondering, is it possible that other
rare and missing movies are not Lost but just haven't been out in any
format yet? What does LOST really mean? It hasn't been on TV and
knowbody has a copy? Bill
Bill, First of all,
Let's keep posts about the Olive Films in one thread,
so I have moved yours here.Secondly the status of 'lost' films is here
