    Well, Dobe was left out of the "In Memoriam" tribute at this year's awards. Just as I knew he would be.


    That's absolute GARBAGE.


    They included a film critic, but not one of the last surviving members of one of film's greatest director's stock company.


    List a film critic and an unknown exec, but not Dobe.


    It figures, but it stinks.

    I would have to agree with the previous two comments about the "memorial article," and add to the discussion only this: I would sincerely hope and pray that "Dobe" Carey makes the show, considering his lofty place in film history - being with Duke and Pappy.

    I saw Lincoln, and I'll be shocked if DDL doesn't win the top prize. I'll be less shocked if Tommy Lee Jones is robbed of his Oscar, but that's only because of the level of Hollywood politics...
