As I watched it again last night some thoughts came to mind but I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it yet. Suffice to say, I thought that at a few points in the film that things could have turned out far different then they did.

I picked up my copy last week before I headed out of town to snowmobile. I saw it 2 times at the theater so I will just let someone else comment on the movie. Obviously if I seen it 2 times in the theater I liked it!!

I went to it 2 times for Kevin and Hondo. I liked it the second time around alot more then the first time.

Sorry to hear that you didn't like the remake etsija. My wife and I thought it was a good movie and I saw the original many times as well. If you didn't like the remake don't watch the original because it is very slow moving with alo of talking as some others here have already stated. The story lines are very similar but less action. You will probably not like that one as well.

My wife and I went to see and I liked it, but I think I need to see it again. Then I will be able to make a more firm decision. My wife loved it and she only went because I wanted to go.
And I agree, the only negative was there was a few f-bombs that were completely not needed. -
Over at Rotton Tomatoes all the reviews are all excellent. I am defintely looking forward to this movie.

the original's a great film. only hope this one is well made. peter fonda was on a local radio show pluging the film. he sounds like he took way too many drugs in the 60's

Also, I wanted to add that the rating on the film is "R" . So it must either be bloody or swearing or both. -

A remake of a 50 year old movie... looks like they kept the plot somewhat the same but had to add things so it would be interesting... bet I still like the original with Henry Ford once I see the remake. Why can't writers come up with something original?

I am looking forward to this movie as well and the trailer looks good. I like Christian Bale and it should be fun to see "The Galdiator" and the new and improved "Batman" square off.
Also, I might be getting things confused DS but I think you meant Glenn Ford, not Henry?? -

Gees Ringo, don't even mention remaking that great movie.
But, I am intrigued by this remake. I liked Christian Bale as the "new" Batman. and I have enjoyed Crowe in Galdiator, Master and Commander, and Cinderella Man.

Russell Crowe?? Very interesting. Except for him being a hot head at times I like him. Not allot but i do like him.
