I agree with the 10/10 assessment, but I must (respectfully) disagree with their attempt at 2nd guessing all the great work that IS this incredible story.
As I've said before, my dad was in the Okinawa campaign, piloting a Higgins Boat (one of countless others) into the very teeth of the battle, and was under constant enemy fire from the island AND the air (kamikazes).
I watched the entire series, and loved every second of it.
I give it a 15/10!
