I'm not quite sure how the composers are selected for any given film, but I imagine that the producer has a say - it's his money. If so, maybe we should consider Elmer Bernstein and Dimitri Tiomkin as part of the stock company. Duke used them both several times.

I think that's the best way to handle it, Ethan. I don't think that the films that featured Duke as only an actor would be germane. For example, "The Longest Day" and "The Greatest Story Ever Told" aren't relevant.
