Forgot to mention--the DvD box shown in Keiths first post--is the DvD released by Alpha Video--that is the place to NEVER order from as their stuff is the worst on the market. I found another source sometime ago and will see if I can find it again? Their is also region 0--just like Alpha Video) but will be slightly better than Alphas release.

iv'e seen this film about 10 years ago,not a great film but then again the picture was of poor quality,

Fully agree-its not an epic great movie-but not bad. There are a few "recognizable faces" in it that keeps it from getting slow.

I MIGHT still have a copy of it on VHS that I taped probably around 20 years ago--and it was from WTBS (forerunner of TCM--in a way) and it was probably the best copy you will ever find of it.

It is. Its a story of a Yank Captain on the march and two Reb Artillery Crews who are bent on stopping them. Barton MacLane is the Confederate Artillery Sergeant and Guy Madison is the Yank Captain. This movie is released on DvD--but is a public domain movie--so sadly--it aint restored.
