I'm not familiar with the graphic novels either, but I think I'll stick with my painfully developed policy of avoiding any movie based on a comic book, no matter what you might call it.
That goes for this summer's upcoming "Jonas Hex" as well. I've been disappointed too many times unless the word of mouth is overpowering.
