This article reminds of something that happened just a couple of weeks ago to me. A young friend of mine was visiting my house and saw some of my DVD collection and commented on John Wayne; saying that he knew who he was because of the Lady Gaga song. I had no idea what song he was talking about; but apparently the fact that she authored a song titled John Wayne made him; and perhaps others of his generation; look into who this person was that Gaga was singing about. And so; yet another generation introduced to the great man.
