OK, this is weird, but I just found reference to some religious guy saying that he wanted to help people meet Jesus. I was surprised, because I distinctly recall the phrase being used to describe what the good guy on a Western was going to do when the gun fight was over - "meet Jesus" upon his death. No, it wasn't "meet your Maker." I googled the phrase and it doesn't turn up anywhere except in evangelical websites. If anybody can verify the use of "meet Jesus' with some historical/cinematic reference, I'd be grateful. Thanks for the help.
