Do you think you will attend the event in May? How far is it from your home? We drove about 14-16 hours last year to join the Duke's Hollywood Cowboys in Tombstone, Arizona. They were there to honor the Duke's birthday, but the overall event in Tombstone was a more generic Western event. It would have been great to have been with a large group sole dedicated to commemorating the Duke for a whole weekend, and to watch John Wayne movies together.
Sounds like a perfect opportunity for some of you message board members to meet face to face!
