Hi Keith, yup, I never developed the taste for spirits. I'm stuck on hot or cold teas, soda pops (predominately Rootbeeer) and water. I did have that bottle of cognac, and it heated me up a bit but, it did go down smooth--very smooth. The bottle only had about 2 or so ounces of cognac in it, so I was not impaired. I'll tell you one thing, it DID make me sleepy.

Getting together sometime to hoist a glass of some kind of liquid with some of you Ladies and Gents, really is something I will look forward to doing.

Hi Keith, quite welcome mate. Tonight whilest watching: The Fighting Kentuckian, I will have a drink of Cognac in honor of your birthday. I still have one tiny bottle of Cognac left from my trip to Germany in Sept 2000. I bet it will go down smooth and taste VERY good by now.

Thank you Todd. Late or not, I greatly appreciate being thought of on my day. Turkey hunting sounds nice. I would like to someday live in an area where that is possible. I wonder if there are places in Colorado where you can hunt turkeys? Tis one of my fav dishes.

Thank you Chester--you got me --------------------- in time that is. I did have a good day--the temperature was nice and slightly cool, I drank too much iced tea--but it went down very well, spent some time with my cats on the porch--they used me as their playground trying to "tag" each other around my left leg. I was a bit wounded several times when they both bit down a bit too hard on my naked toes. I finished my day off with a hot Turkey sandwich for supper and I watched Clint Eastwood in: "Any Which Way You Can" for about the ten-thousandth time.
