When one thinks of supporting actors everyone goes for the side kicks or good guys and gals. How about a list of favourite baddies in John Wayne pictures most of them very good classical actors. I'm thinking for instance:

Luther Adler - Mayrant Ruysdaal Sidneye -
'Wake of the Red Witch'
Walter Pidgeon - William Cantrell - Dark Command
James Gregory - Morgan Hastings - The Sons of Katie Elder
It seems that the baddies get very good meaty roles and I bet we've all got our favourite black hat guy .
