Hey you, how have you been? Do you ever get back here?
Im about in the center of the City. Not a great neighborhood--but now too bad ;-))
Do you live in Corpus Christie proper or outside the city limits?
Carl, Sorry due to complaints,
I have had un approve your thread
He has black hair and will be pretty young looking. I mainly know him from Star Trek episodes as well as: Escape From Fort Bravo as a Confederate Corporal.

Thank you Smokey ;-)) Its going to be awhile before I get access to internet again. Probably a few weeks? HOPEFULLY less ;-))
Shasta will freak out because I have to have her in a pet taxi and she hates riding in cars. At least this is a once trip for her, but for me ill have to make one more in about a week to try to finish moving all my junk. I HATE moving but, im glad that the heavier stuff will be moved as of tomorrow so, the lighter stuff will be a snap.
Take care and please give Redcap my best regards and that I havent forgotten that I am sending him something as thanks and will do so after I recover a bit in Corpus.
safe trip ringo keep your lovely cat safe
Hi Cindy, stuck here in ultra wierd Austin and trying to get back to Corpus ;-)) I have much to say but am on a 15 minute timed computer. Ill try sending you an email later today if possible?
Hope things are good for you there? here its a rut for me, and im a bit tired of the Austin area.
Where have you been, young man?
Cheers Bill, glad to hear from you and no prob on not able to write sooner. Ive been the same way mostly due to being in and out of the Hospital and such.
Sorry to hear that Sharon has a prob. I have one-Dry Skin which feels like a severe sunburn and like someone is rubbing sandpaper on it. Thankfully its not contageous. Ive been using a cream 4 it and I THINK its finally starting to go away. Ive had this prob since at least Dec 4th.
Thank you for your addy and I will be getting a CD to you 1st week in june since money is tight this month thanks to med bills. I think you will like it. and soon as I can dig out my Original WWII pics CDs, ill mail them to you as well. I think you might enjoy seeing these images.

Hi Carl, Have just read your comments at "Cross of Iron". It sounds interesting with the CD. If you can send it I would be grateful. Address is:
7 Amelia Ct
Thanks for the offer.
Hi Carl, Sorry for not getting in touch sooner but I have been busy with our ANZAC Day attending schools and answering questions from young children. Also assisting servicemen/women with claims for compensation and disabilities. So far this year I have helped about 50 people with claims and have been successful with them all. I am glad that you are on the mend and hope sincerely that you continue to improve. Sharon and Alec send their best wishes, although Sharon has been off of work for two weeks with a skin infection from which she is now recovering. We are getting a small parcel ready to send to you, so take care and keep smiling.
Hi Bill, I was starting to get worried about you as I had not seen you here lately. Ive improved healthwise but not financially. I have been looking for a few War Movies images for the Mods to post here in their respective places. I recently got a great pic of Gregory Peck in: Pork Chop Hill, and three of Errol Flynn and Ronald Reagan in: Santa Fe Trail, and im hoping to secure 7 stills from: Von Ryans Express-with at least one still showing Trevor howard-another UK fave of mine. And finally, im hoping to secure a great shot of Gary Cooper and Paulette Goddard in the pre-Revolutionary War days, movie: Unconquered.
Ill try to send you a PM with my addy-and will post it here as well.

Haven't heard from you for a while. I hope that you are still improving. I am waiting for an address so that I can send you some memorabilia. Look after yourself and as the old saying goes keep smiling.
Hi Emma, thank you as well and im more than happy to do so, and also glad o have you among my friends here ;-))
Thanks Carl for your request.Glad to have you between my friends here.
Hi Arthur, thank you for the nice wishes and I too wish you the Merriest of Christmas's and Happiest of New Years.
Take care--respectfully, Carl ;-))
Wishing you and your family a very MerryChristmas and a Happy New Year.
Im not sure if im doing this thing correclty or not? but I can't seem to get the message to quit saying that I still need to reply to it ;-))
Hi Bill, I just tried to get into your site but it didn't open for me. Ill try again later after supper.
Hi Bill, glad to do so. Also, I think I came up with another nice dish by accident today for Lunch? Grill a chicken breast in Lawrys (SP?) Chicken Teriyaki Sauce, and place crispy bacon chunks into the melting cheese that you place on the top side. Serve with it some white rice and boiled cinnamon carrots. That was some good eating there ;-)) Also, serve this with a cornbread roll.
Speaking about my sore right foot, I couldn't believe it but twice last night-once just before getting into bed and the other when i had to visit the boys room at about 4:30 AM, I slammed my right foot into one of the beds-legs, then the later incident I hit the nightstand. Needless to say, I didn't get much sleeep last night thanks to the shooting pains.
My next operation is set for Friday 13th-and this time the left food goes under the knife ;-))
ill try visiting your site later this evening after I get supper down and a shower. Two things I can't stand are that I have to wrap my leg in a trash bag so I don't get the ace bandages wet-which were thankfully changed today at the Foot Drs office ;-)) The other is, that for a week now, I have not been out on my walks nor to that Mexican Restaurant. I don't think ill get a chance to go back to that restaurant because were about to move by the end of the month-to Austin-which is about a 3 hour drive from here. Speaking of the foot, I gotta log off shortly to go take a pain pill.
Im going to visit your site probably about 8:30 my time this evening.
Ringo You Might want to Check out My New Web-Site When You feel Better ? And I need some one to Talk Food With !
Hi Keith, thank you on all accounts ;-)) I guess I finally learned something new ;-))
Thankfully the pains are subsiding but, the first 1-2 days were pure hell. The day of my surgery-after I got releasesd wasn't so bad but that was because they gave me Morphine. When that started to wear of-WOW did th pains hit. I couldn't seem to get the pains to subside any even taking the painkiller they prescribed. I was afraid of running out of pills well before it was intended because I was taking pain pills on average of every 3 hours when the bottle said every 6-8 hours. The next day wasn't so bad and I managed to take them approx every 6-8 hours. Thursday was finally slightly better, and so far today, ive only taken one pain killer, but need another as I type this.
Im just so out of touch on what websites give to peoople for things to do. Such as on the ww2f site im on-I almost never think to check for messages in the same place this one is in. Sometimes I go ther eweks or months later and am embarassed because someone came to me for help, and I didn't reply and they must have thought I was a snob or something-when its just I never think to take a look in there ;-))
Oops, I guess I better get busy and repoly to those ;-))
Thanks again Keith, and ill try o remember to look here more often. Best regards-Carl..
Hi Carl, you got it!!!
Thanks for this message and your private one.
I do hope the pain goes away, and you steadily improve.
By the way posting a reply on one's own profile is quite common,
that's why I put up a new thread about it!
Incidently, don't forget the other messages for other members were not recieved either.
Carl, my friend, when you post a message say to me or Linda,
you must post it on their profile, not your own,
otherwise they won't get it.
Best wishes, mate!
Hi Keith, that sounds great to me. For the next 6 weeks, ill be spending much more time on the computer because I will be having surgery on both my feet but in seperate operations and ill need something to keep occupied by ;-))
How about if I formed a UK/US Social Group
where we could discuss what each over thought
about each other's constitutions, and ways of life.
Hi Redcap, Linda. Sorry I could not repoly to you all sooner. I couldn't get the site to load up for me for over two months-I dont know why? I figured id try today and had no problem.
Redcap, thank you in advance for those movies I have heard of them before but never seen them. Speaking of--I am getting ready to buy one called: The Desert Rats of Tobruk-as soon as they become available./
Anyway, it's good to be back hopefully I can continue to log on here without problems.
