  • HOWDY! from WesTexaS. I am 31 and my Grandpa & Uncle were big into John Wayne Movies. So, as a kid I seen my Grandpa and Uncle watching plenty of John Wayne Movies. Now I see why... I just recently started buying some. Most recently me and my wife just watched The Big Trail tonight. Was a good movie I thought. She was kinda bored with it.... It was my second time to see it and I still enjoyed it. Whats even more interesting is I'm definately not your average fan of John Wayne Movies. I am a metalhead dude that plays bass in a death metal band. I guess it don't really matter, The Duke appeals to all kinds of people from all over the planet. The Big Trail was pretty interesting considering the time it was filmed in. I also read up on the filming of the movie on wikepedia a bit. Some interesting facts about all of it.

Well, thanks for the forum, it seems like a cool spot for John Wayne Fans.

    Groove on........
