At one time John Wayne was described or considered as being slightly to the right of Ghengis Khan.

With regard to our politicians I wouldn't give you tuppence for the lot of them.

Well, Arthur, I'm slightly to the right of the Duke,

Actually, I call myself a Libertarian. They believe in minimum government involvement in the lives of citizens. I'm a strong individualist and reject any hint of collectivism.

As for your politicians, about the only current one with whom I'm familiar is Mr. Blair and because of his steadfast backing of Bush, I like Tony, even if he is the leader of the Labour Party.

I feel toward almost all American politicians, of any party, the same way you feel toward British politicians. Far as I'm concerned, there ain't any of 'em worth the powder it'd take to blow 'em to hell.

Thank God I live in the Wide open Spaces and do what I want when I want and call myself on the "Right but not far Right!!!"

Amen, Bill. My philosophy has always been that government should help only those who are too old, too young or too crippled to work. Everyone else should take care of themselves.

Those blue staters and the Europeans think there's a government solution to every problem but remember what Ronnie Reagan said, "Government is the problem" and I sure agree with that. All I want from the government is for them to leave me alone.

Extreme far left are communists. Extreme far right are Nazis. Most Europeans are socialists, most of which aren't as far left as communists. Nor am I as far right as a Nazi. But I don't like socialism at all.

Interesting Sentiment Stumpy, over here most people hate Margret Thatcher and even the conservative party distances itself from her durring electing campaigns.

Most Europeans, including Brits, are much farther left than I am, Robbie.

The Australian miners were the good guys and we get to play the baddies yet again, that's the trouble with owning half the world we had to upset someone sometime.

Just between you and me, Arthur, I wish Great Britain still owned half the world but with either Winnie or Maggie at the helm. :D
