This'll get you started, Ringo. Not sure if it includes every war movie ever made but it has a lot of 'em.
BTW, Ringo, I wasn't trying to discourage you when I pointed out that someone had already compiled a list of western TV series - I just didn't think it was necessary to reinvent the wheel. As Arthur says, your enthusiastic participation in our musings is refreshing and welcome.
I ruefully learned long ago, though, that before I spend a lot of time and effort gathering information about almost any subject under the sun, I'd better do a web search 'cause it's probably already been done.

The thing that is differant with the list here is that I purposedly did not list Cartoons, Space Cowboys and mini series and specials. I just wanted what was meant as live action and period series. I think I did include 1-2 that were not period placed shows like Outlaws, and that was because fo the star power in it as well as their past in other Westerns.
Should I continue working on this list or just leave it alone? I have mistakes to correct and things to add and to delete to make this list more accurate. I do not know where to take this list being I am a day late and a dollar short. Maybe it could be used as a site referance to anyone interested?

Well, you have to do what you think best but if I were you, in the future I'd do a Google search before I undertook any similar projects because there's a better-than-even chance that its been done already. I can think of few topics that haven't already been explored at one time or another on the internet. By determining beforehand if its already been done, you can save yourself considerable effort.
During my time on this forum, I've been guilty of the same mistake. I've asked questions which I found out later had already been asked and answered, several times, by other people on the forum. I just failed to do the proper research before asking the questions.

You omitted cast members of one of my favorite Westerns. And some of these guys have played in numerous oaters.
