Posts from Colorado Bob in thread „Who Would Be Your Idea For The Perfect“

Okay folks, here it is. I told Carl that I was taking him up on his challenge, and after much thought, and after imposing the limitation on myself of picking a year and using only actors and actresses that were alive and capable of making films at that time, I have chosen the year 1960. So here, is my version of the greatest western film of all time, from the year 1960. Let me know what you all think. (Bear in mind that there are several notable omissions, such as John Qualen, John Ireland, Arthur Kennedy and many others that I would have included if I could have thought of names and occupations for them - Colorado Bob).

    Okay Carl,
I'm taking you up on your challenge, but it is pretty difficult to do so I have decided to limit myself some what. I picked a year (1960), and decided to have all the actors and actresses and what not active during that time. Now I only have a list of about a hundred people, so I am paring it down some more by trying to think of roles for them in the "Best Western Movie Ever". I've been working on this since you started this post back on the 12th. Hopefully I will have it done in the next day or so and will get it posted.
By the way, this idea of yours is great! I haven't had this much fun in a long time. I am in training at work this week, so I take my list to work with me to work on it during lunch, and one of my buddy's, Jess (the Colorado Ranger here at the forum), has been offering his suggestions as well, so the result will not be all my creation. I am looking forward to how this thing turns out.
    Best,
    Colorado Bob
