ASlthough not employed by Ford McLaglen worked as an assistant on the Quiet Man, and it was him who noticed that in the scene where following the wedding the villagers were bringing Mary's furniture to seans House.
McLaglan noticed that the villagers were in their every day costumes and told Ford that after an all night party they would still be in their party clothes.
Ford tapped an empty piece of paper in his shirt pocket and said I have already made a note of that.
MacLaglen knew that Ford had done no such thing.
