Well....in Windsor England today it was clear bright blue skies and a little bit chilly..... makes a change from the usual drizzle !!!!!!
I think it's freezing, don't like it!!! -
Well we here in the the South-West of the UK,
are seeing at last, some 'spring' type days.
Still cold though with some frost.
-3c last night. -
Better start spraying evreything and using aerosols,
perhaps we can hurry this global warming along!!! -
-2C, here in the South-West of England,
but no snow, touch wood!!
We're not used to it down here.
In January my village was cut of from
the rest of the UK for 3 days.
Glad I was out of the country! -
rain rain and more rain grass is growing and not being mowed because it is always raining wish it would dry up for just a few days so i can mow the grass
cheers smokeyUmmm!!! This sounds familiar,
oh yes, it's come back to me, England??? -
Snow up north, lethal black ice down here in the South-West,
and basically as a result, the UK in utter chaos!!! -
It started raining on the 22nd november and it hasn't stopped yet (or so it seems)
Same here,
it has rain non stop since I can remember, we will all sink! -
Gale force winds, rain and many floods,
up north bridges being swept away!! -
Getting chilly, wood stove now fired up in the evenings
-
One day sun, one day rain and so on.
Confusing to know what to wear -
Well here at last we're having some milder, dryer weather!
-
i watched the news this morning and saw a place in devon called ilsington - have i got that right? covered in snow - just blue skies up here but very cold
Only 5 miles from me, covered in inches of snow,
and we had'nt any at all -
Hi Keith
I eas thinking of you last night watching the news on television. It looked really grim with people stranded for up to six hours in their cars. Here its a blue sky with the sun shining. It is quite cold. With slight cloud cover it should keep the temperture above freezing.
Regards
ArthurThank you thinking of me Arthur.
It was all very strange,
we were the same as you, basking in sunshine,
with not a flake of snow on the ground,
whereas barely 10 miles away
folk spent all night, stranded in their cars!! -
It's wierd up to an hour ago,
it was just wet, now it's snowing but just sticking.
Yet barely 10 miles from here,
folk have 6 inches of snow, and have been stranded in their cars all night! -
No snow, just rain.
-
Arthur, that's exactly what I was saying yesterday!
'What global warming?'
The winters and even the summers are getting colder.
All oursnow has completely gone, and now the rain is back. -
Unusually, for the South-West we are now covered with a blanket of snow.
However, they say it will start getting warmer from today, we'll see!
