The Good German with George Clooney, Toby McGuire, and Cate Blanchard. Not very good and a lot of sex, violence, and profanity. This was not what I expected, and I would not recommend this to you.
Cheers Hondo
Not even the sex part!!! J/K!!!
I had heard the samething so I haven't even thought about renting it. Glad to hear another person say the same thing so I don't get weak and rent it sometime! -
I watched The Conqueror and Wild Hogs again. And I was even able to fit in a few snowmobiling videos to make the heat alittle more bearable that we are getting right now.
-
Watched "Trouble Along the Way" with Duke, Donna Reed, Charles Coburn. Kind of a nice cahnge of pace film for Duke, not all the great but decent enough film.
-
I watched "Hero" after the sun went down last night. Its the martial arts flick with Jet Li. Very well done, I really liked that movie.
-
"Garfield, Tale of Two Kitties" with my kids, not all that good, well for me it wasn't all that good. Kids loved it though.
-
Watch Wild Hogs, it is a funny movie. Some swearing, not bad, but it is funny.
-
I watched, dare I say it, a eastern!!
Hatari! I always liked that movie, Red Buttons is a hoot, was they say. -
Watched "Shooter" with Mark Wahlberg last night. Very hard to follow at times but good enough to keep me interested. Could have been much better.
-
Thanks Hondo, I always liked Sandra Bullock, well that is till she married Jesse James. Unbelievable what these hollywood people do sometimes!!
-
That movie you saw was "Command Decision" Carl.
I just got back from seeing "Live Free and Die Hard". I liked the movie but at times I was like, Come on!!!!! But it was good. -
I watched "Reunion in France". It was a alright movie although it wasn't much of a film for Duke as it was for Joan Crawford.
Last night I took my boy to "Transformers". I thought it was cheesy, over the top, and loud. And both my son and I loved it. In fact I wouldn't mind seeing it again. I would say it was better then Spidey 3 and easily better then Shrek 3. As my son would say, It was "SWEET"!!!!
Then this afternoon while I was reloading my system(don't ask!!!!) I watched "The 13th Warrior" with Antonio Banderas. -
I watched "The Wings of Eagles" on this hot summer afternoon. Not one of his best but watchable.
-
Ghost Rider, except for Sam Elliot this movie was a bore, and I mean a big bore!!!
-
Watched "Tycoon" from my new John Wayne Movie Collection. Not bad, not great. My wife watched it cause it was in color, she refuses to watch old movies that are not in color. Don't yell at me, I keep telling her she is missing out.
-
I have never seen "Raise the Titanic". Was it any good? Since I have not seen it nor even knew they had made it into a film I am assuming that it is not that good.
-
I watched "Sahara" with Mathew McConuaghy, sp? . I wish they would do more Clive Cussler books with Dirk Pitt. They are great books.
-
I remember watching that movie when it first came out, and also remember not liking it very much either.
Ever since Tom Cruise "freaked out" he is dead as an actor for me to watch.
Women will do that to some men!! Or should I call him a wuss? No real man would freak out like that on national TV. -
While not a "escape" movie like the other's memtioned I really like "Stalag 17" with William Holden. Classic movie with alot of great moments captured on the silver screen.

Took my son and his friend to Spidey 3. I liked it, like others I was not fond of the fighting without a mask on all the time.
