Red Tails A very good movie. Like it a lot, and highly recommend it to all. It is very good and educational. Just really great.
I guess for the record, what out for the language. I didn't seem to pick up on it, but I am sure that it was there.
Just amazed with the dogfighting (for Carl).
And the way they were treated, which I knew was there. Let's face it the 1940's were not the best for blacks, and it was brutal in the south. But the respect factor comes around in this movie.
Not to give too much away, the story takes place in Italy; I thought it was starting in Alabama for the training, didn't go there. Enjoyed very much on Blu-ray.

The Barbarian & the GeishaJohn Wayne goes to Japan. I must admit, I liked this movie. Not a top pick of a Duke moive, but it was good. I enjoyed the history aspect of this and the cultural aspect as well. Just a movie that was entertaining, and watched it on Blu-ray. By the way, the picture and sound quality were excellent. Fox did a great job restoring this movie. Very enjoyable.

The Grey Liam Neison stars in this action adventure. Don't waste your time on this movie. Just not that good. Too much foul language and those wolves are not nice.

Bell, Book and Candle with James Stewart and Kim Novak. In tribute of James Stewart's 104th Birthday. A quaint movie and quiet enjoyable.

The Seven Year Itch What a silly movie. Do you think Marilyn Monroe is a good actress? I am not impressed. I guess she's not my type. Of course I was only two when she departed this earth. But seeing some of her movies, I am just not impressed.

The Vow It was really a good movie. It is out on video this past week, and has Rachel McAdams and Channing Tatum. It is a tear jerker, and based on true events. Just a kind of movie to sit back and enjoy.

Jack and Jill ~ very silly movie with a lot of guest celebrities making cameo appearances. A little of the top on silliness but cute with some bad humor.

War Horse ~ It was a very good movie, and must admit, had me at the edge of my seat through most of the movie. Very well done, Spielberg.

The Descendants with George Clooney. Not a bad movie, not what I expected.

RED with Bruce Willis, Morgan Freedman, and Helen Mirian. This was a much better movie than I thought, and was really entertained. Gonna get J. Egar on video tomorrow. Hope it is a good one.

Bad Teacher. Don't waste your time, money or effort. Just a horrible movie with no sense of humor. This was suppose to be a comedy, but I found nothing funny about this movie except the fact that I watch the entire movie thinking it had a point.

I have watched Unknown, and Just Go with It. Enjoyable movies in their own way.

I watched a couple of Oscar movies this past week. The first is The Fighter and the other is The King's Speech. I must say that I really enjoyed both movies but leaning toward The King's Speech. These are pretty good for us adults, not recommended for those under 18 years old.

How Do You Know with Reese Witherspoon, Owen Wilson, Paul Rudd, and Jack Nicholson. A funny little movie and just a movie you can't forget. Not bad, but rated PG-13 for it's language, sexual content, and adult humor. Good on video.

The Ghost Writer with Ewan McGregor, Pierce Bronsen, Kim Catrell. A good mystery and suspence.

Avatar. Yes I finally watched it. All I can say is I saw it. It wasn't bad, but I don't want to watch it again. The story was fine, but it was making a political statement for the left. And I resent the message. But I did ignore it and enjoyed the story.

Get Low with Robert Duvall, Bill Murray, and Sissy Spacek. A very interesting movie that is about a Tall Tale to end all Tall Tales. It was some movie, that takes place in Tennessee in 1931, and the music is blue grass background. Strong dialog in this movie.
