Fire Over England arrived lunch time and I spent the afternoon watching it.A reasonable film given its age (1937)with a very young Lawrence Olivier, Vivien Leigh Robert Newton and Flora Robson as Queen Elizabeth.

Saturday night British television manages to achieve what most people would think was impossible namely four hours of rubbish on every major channel.
This occurs to such an extent that one is forced to go to the sky movie channels and last nights offering was Johnny English Reborn with Rowan Atkinson, and believe it or not it was reasonably entertaining.

The Jungle Book. Not the Disney version but the 1940's Korda film with Sabu.
Visually stunning, good story great music. If you haven't seen it I'd cheerfully recommend it.
