    This is one of Marty Robbins best albums, Sanada.



    I just bought that CD for my dad. It was his birthday and all he had was the original LP vinyl recording. Kind of hard to listen to it in the vehicle.

    I grew up obviously listening to that style of music, I agree, it is a lost form of country music.

    may2, that is who I was going to say was missing on bek's list of traditional artists, Alan Jackson has always been a favorite of mine. I am not a fan of the newer country music either. I am more of a traditionalist as well. But I will say this. Give Keith Urban a try, I was skeptical at first, and his music is not traditional, but I have come to really like his stuff.

    Now Rascal Flatts, that's a whole different story. They just plain stink IMHO, anyways.
