But in real life, What kind of dogs is Duke's favorite?
hottweiler, mastif, airedale? Do you know?

Duke was a dog lover. I think he own a huskie in the 60's. But I will try to confirm that.

I just saw the movie Marley and Me.
very nice film about a family dog and what affect and animal can have on a person or family.my favorite dog film is OLD YELLER 1957. This film still makes me brake out the old hankie.
