I am new to the site here, but an old fan of John Wayne. Always loved cowboy movies from childhood.
Now I have a question that I am sure someone connected here will be able to answer. I seem to recall seeing on the History Channel some 4 or 5 years ago a documentary re John Wayne and I believe he had made a silent version of the Mutiny on the Bounty that was never released.
Can anyone verify this ? I repeated this a couple of days ago at lunch with some friends and they laughed me off as dreaming. Maybe I am, maybe someone here can clear it up for me.
