A superb thread. Duke's Alamo is my all-time favourite closely followed by The Searchers

Hi guys are there two versions of Duke's Alamo around? The reason I ask is because I have a version on Video which includes Ken Curtis singing to his daughter. But in the DVD version I have it's not there so that's the reason I ask if there's a cut and un-cut version out there?

Darren,
there are at least two versions, one a dirctors cut,
which included, intro-intermission-end etc,
and includes many scenes cut from the general release.

Hello, New member here !
The Alamo is in my top ten J.W. films.
Great Greeting between Davy Crockett & Jim Bowie.
I think Duke said " I hear you are pretty good with a knife "
Please correct if I am wrong.PAL
