Filming locations are readily available but what I have never seen anybody give is the precise location of the hollow in which Col. Thursday made his last stand. I would love to stand at that place, can anybody help me please?

Thanks for the welcome.

I'd love to.
This spot is conveniently close to Goulding's, actually. It is called Red Door Mesa, and if you look closely, you will recognize that the exact same spot was used for the Indian camp in "She Wore a Yellow Ribbon", one year later. Find more details on how to get there my website: https://www.duke-locations.com…ng-sites/monument-valley/

Sorry for not responding earlier but the notification went into my spam.
That's great news and especially as it has a name. I will take a look at your website. Is the hollow still visible do you know?

It's actually on the street you use to get up to Red Door.

That's fantastic news. Hopefully I won't have any difficulty finding it. Planning a trip for June 2024. I'd like to stand where Thursday met his end!
