Thanks Mark for the Boys Cinema post,
I have inserted the photo into the
Duke's Movie Books,
as I didn't have a cover photo with Duke.

Is there a way we can consolidate all these under one main thread?
The idea was to have a central place for all the posters, printed ephemera, from all members rather personal collections spread all over the forum.
Peter,
I can consolidate the poster threads,
but the Comics and Annuals being a separate subject,
can stand alone. However I still think we should have a totally different thread
for all non-Duke posters.
Let me know. -
Dooley has recently posted the thread
Duke's Poster Place,
so to run along with that,
thought it timely to remind us of this thread -
Great images Ladyhawk, your friend must have an amazing collection.
This thread is supposed to be Duke posters but I suppose if no one posts anything else it's good to have a few others, lol!
However Peter, I think that Duke's Poster Place should
be as it says,
and another new thread started for 'Posters Misc' -
Hi all, to compliment Lasbugas' great stills thread I thought we should have a central place for folks to post pictures of their posters, lobby cards, colour stills, press books etc., basically anything to do with the promotion of Duke's films.
The only criteria is colour, so it sits nicely with the predominantly black and white sister thread.
I'll start it off but this is a thread for all who have stuff and would like to share it with the rest of us.Peter (Dooley)
Peter, well done and thanks for posting this thread.
There are indeed some great lobby cards out there
and you are blessed to have them.As with lasbugas's thread,
I have also made yours 'sticky', so that it will always remain predominant. -
..and you posted them here

Mike, where have you been, your thread is still open,
anyway welcome back -
Here is a previous poster link
posted by our good member Popul VuhQuoteI don't know if anyone has mentioned rhis site before, but I stumbled on to this site by accident. Maybe someone on this site knows the guy,
This is the link to the main site, but it never loaded for me.
This is the link to the poster section. It takes a long time to load though.

QuoteHello Pilgrims -
I have joined the group and am very happy to belong. Although I am somewhat "retired" from poster collecting, I still maintain a video library and, of course, I still post photos of posters whenever I receive new ones.
Shoot me a message if you have questions, or just want to chat.

Mike has posted some really great pictures
of his vast collection of posters. However I felt that his thread was somehow tucked away!
I have now moved it to the 'Comprehensive Work'
sub-forum and made it 'Sticky,At the same time I have seperated the discussion into it's own thread.
This then will allow Mike to add, with the posters always remaining prominent
instead of being 'shunted' down. -
Actually I had the idea of doing a CANDID DUKE book years ago.
My main interest is behind the scenes photos. I have on RIO BRAVO & HATARI! alone 200 behind the scenes shots. Maybe dozens of color pages with mixed posters & LC's as salt in the soup...
I guess for a book featuring JUST posters & LC's my collection is much to incomplete. The 30's and 40's stuff is and always was much to expensive for me...
So far I made only one book (PASSION & POETRY - SAM PECKINPAH IN PICTURES with more than 1000 photos. People over here loved it.) and
two other book projects died thanks to the greedy lawyers of certain LA-talent.
I listed some reproductions of my rare Duke-stills at eBay, 'gives you an
idea of what I'm talking about

Hi Mike, great shots,
perhaps you can start your ' Candid Duke'here,
and upload your pictures into our various Movie Threads! -
DUKE'S POSTER PLACE- Past Discussion
As we had two poster threads it now seems appropriate to merge them into one.
A special thanks to Dooley for the title
