When I was a young man I moved to California for a couple of years, a friend of mine was driving a taxi for a living and he picked John Wayne up at Long Beach airport, he took him to a house on Balboa Island. I was intrigued by this story and started watching John's films especially his westerns.
Imagine having John Wayne in the back of your car for 45 minutes

I was thirteen when I became a fan and collector after watching McLintock, at a drive in theater with my grandparents.

My dad was a huge John Wayne fan so When I was a kid I watched them with him all the time. The first one I can remember was Rio Lobo. It became one of my favorites. Now I have many favorites and have tried to see as many as possible. To say I love the Duke is an understatement.
