30 years ago The actress Marjorie Main died, famous in the Ma and Pa Kettle series she was in Dark Command and the Shepherd of the Hills.

114 years ago the cowboy star Tim McCoy was born he appeared inTexas Cyclone and Two Fisted Outlaw.

90 years ago the actor Henry ;Harry' Morgan was born. A regular in M*A*S*H he played the sheriff in The Shootist. As far as I know he is still with us.
