  • I've been re-watching Gene Autry lately. Yesterday it was The Old Barn Dance. Wonderful.

Last Wayne I looked at was Rio Bravo a couple of weeks ago. Beautiful. John T.

One I haven't watched in a long time but need to see it again is Ulzana's Raid with Burt Lancaster, Robert Aldrich director. Excellent and little seen.

  • Tall T is my fave Randy Scott picture; Boone is wonderful, as always.

  • "The Man From Laramie" (1955)
    -James Stewart

    Plot: IMDB
A stranger defies the local cattle baron and his sadistic son by working for one of his oldest rivals.

Phantom's Review: One of the greats. Terrific action, acting and story. A classic.

They'd never forget the day,the stranger rode into town

  • Just picked up "Hannie Caulder" on DVD. Ernest Borgnine, Strother Martin and Jack Elam are outstanding as homicidal versions of The Three Stooges.
Not great, but it's short and amusing and Robert Culp gives a nifty performance as a bounty hunter.

    We deal in lead, friend.
