The Dark Knight Rises.
Finally managed to get to the cinema to see it!
Very good indeed. Probably the least superhero, superhero film I've ever seen.
Batman appears for less than 30% of the running time but it doesn't matter one bit! More like Michael Mann's Heat than a Batman film. -
Safe house.
Good little action thriller, nothing amazing, and you won't remember it in a week, but enjoyable none the less -

A big screen showing of The Thing, John Carpenter's 1982 film. Introduced by John Carpenter himself. Didn't like the film the first time I saw it on it's original release-Carpenter noted it was widely hated at that time-but I (and MANY others) have really come to enjoy it as much as the 1951 version. Beautiful on the big screen.
