I remember Edwards more from Jackpot than Name That Tune. Used to watch Jackpot all the time. Always had that huge stack of gift boxes and contestants yelling out JACKPOT, every so often. Strange that two well known game show hosts pass in one week. Hope Bob Eubanks is in good health.

William Clay Ford, grandson of Henry Ford and part of the family that owns Ford Motor Co. has died of pneumonia at age 88. Ford was also owner of the Detroit Lions of the NFL.
Also, just read today that William "Wild Bill" Guarnere has passed away. He gained fame in the Stephen Ambrose book Band Of Brothers and later HBO mini-series. And his best friend and comrade, Babe Heffron, another member of the Band Of Brothers passed away in December.

Hogan’s Heroes Star Cynthia Lynn Dies at 76
Cynthia Lynn, who played Colonel Klink’s secretary Fraulein Helga on “Hogan’s Heroes” during the first season, died Monday in Los Angeles. She was 76 and had been suffering from hepatitis. She was among the last surviving cast members of the 1960s military comedy.
Born Zinta Valda Zimilis, in Riga, Latvia, she last acted in 1975 in an episode of “Harry O.”
She also appeared in “Gidget Grows Up,” “Mission: Impossible,” “The Odd Couple,” “Love American Style” and “The Six Million Dollar Man.”
Before “Hogan’s Heroes,” she appeared on “Surfside 6″ and “Dr. Kildare.” In 1964, she appeared in Marlon Brando starrer “Bedtime Story.”
After Marlon Brando died, her daughter Lisa came forward and said Brando was her father. She said her mother had met him on the set of “Bedtime Story.”
Lisa Brando posted on Facebook: “Just wanted to thank you all so much for all your prayers and support during this difficult time. My mother will be truly missed. All my love to you and all her loving fans. XOXO”
In 2002, Lynn’s life was chronicled in the book “Escape to Freedom: a Biography of Cynthia Lynn,” which told the story of her family’s journey from Latvia to Germany to the U.S. during and after WWII. It also told of her relationship with “Hogan’s Heroes” star Bob Crane, which was portrayed in the movie “Auto Focus.”

Celtic music is my favorite music and I think Celtic Thunder is awful. My sister was a big fan though. She has seen them three times. She said the last concert was awful.

Comic David Brenner Died
Surprised that he was 78.

RIP David

Wow, didn't know Brenner was that old. Always liked his act, thought he was one of the funnier stand up comedians. One joke lways stands out. He says riding a bus and your sitting on a newspaper and someone asks if you're done reading it. His punchline, no, still reading it. And he would get up, turn the apaer over and sit back down on it.
